Eswatini pilots launch of COMESA e-certificate of origin

Eswatini became the first Member State to pilot the launch of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Electronic Certificate of Origin (e-certificate). The e-certificate was launched by the Minister of Commerce Industry and Trade, Hon. Manqoba Khumalo and COMESA Secretary General Chileshe Kapwepwe, at an event held at Eswatini Revenue Service Headquarters in Ezulwini on the 7th November 2024. The launch was also attended by the Ambassador Designate and and Head of EU Delegation in Eswatini, Mr Karsten Mecklenburg.
