EU EPA NATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY REVIEW
Eswatini with support from the European Union (EU) through International Trade Centre (ITC) is under the process of reviewing the EU EPA Implementation Strategy. The consultation process coordinated by the International Trade Department (ITD) under the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Trade, took place on the the week of the 2nd - 6th June 2025, where the Consultant Mr Rolf Otto engaged with different stakeholders from the Public and Private sector, to gain insight into their experience of utilising the EU SADC EPA Agreement and receive proposals of how the revised strategy can be formulated to address some of the issues that hinder businesses from utilising the agreement.
