Process Steps
| Step 1 |
The applicant shall write a formal letter to the Principal Secretary of Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade, and also obtain the prescribed form for an appropriate licence or for renewal (after 12months) of the licence.
Note: The applicant may also send the application to the developer of SEZ, namely; Royal Science and Technology Park or Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority

Step 2
|
The applicant shall apply in the prescribed form to the Committee and shall receive a letter of acknowledgement withing two weeks
|
| Step 3 |
On receiving an application for a licence or for renewal of a licence, the Committee shall assess the specific engineering and financial plans, financial viability, and environmental and social impact of the applicant's proposed special economic zone project, as appropriate.

| Step 4 |
The Committee issues the appropriate licence or renew a licence after the approval of Cabinet within One (1) month
|
|
Step 5
|
The applicant makes payment of the prescribed annual fee with the treasurer after receiving a letter of approval from the committee
|
| Step 6 |
Upon payment, the applicant provides proof of payment, and receive their license within a week.
